Our Terms and Conditions

New Zealand warranty, sales, care and support is provided during business hours 8.30am to 5pm Mon to Fri excluding all public holidays.

 

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once an order is placed on our site, We will email you a confirmation shortly after your order has been received and paid for.

 

PAYMENT

All payments through this website are taken in NZD.

 

DELIVERY

When your package has shipped you will be emailed a link for order tracking.Once the item is within the courier network you will need to contact the couriers for inquiries about delivery – Our team can help if you are unsure how to do so.

Please note we do not delivery to PO Box addresses. Should an item be returned to our warehouse due to incorrect address details, you are liable for additional freight charges to get the package re-delivered.

 

CHANGE OF MIND

If you have a change of mind or need to make amendments to your order please do so as soon as possible. We are unable to alter a delivery once it has shipped from the warehouse, and changes or cancellations after this will attract a restocking fee.

 

RESTOCKING FEES

If you decide to cancel or amend your order once the item has shipped, the following fees may become applicable. Shipping fees are non-refundable, for detailed information on restocking fees visit www.gadgetgeek.co.nz/returns.

 

DISCOUNT VOUCHERS

Gadget Geek may offer various promotional discounts, vouchers, codes, or coupons from time to time. These are not valid when used with any other offer or discount from Gadget Geek. We reserve the right to make valid, remove, disable or cancel any offers in any form at any time, and at our sole discretion.

 

MANUALS

We source products from all around the world to get the highest quality and best prices. As a result, in rare instances it will be impossible for us to source items with English manuals and PC software. In the unlikely event that you receive an item without the English manuals and software just email our team and we will do our best to obtain digital versions for you.

 

PRODUCT INFORMATION AND SPECIFICATIONS

We source devices from many markets around the world to get you the best products at the most competitive prices.  Gadget Geek works hard to ensure that information regarding specifications, performance and accessories is accurate.

 

Unfortunately due to variations in the country of origin and other factors, it is beyond our capability to ensure that devices meet manufacturer guidelines for New Zealand. As such, we cannot guarantee that the information on our site is 100% correct at all times. We accept no liability for variations between the listed specifications and those of the received product.

 

TESTING

The majority of items sent from our warehouse undergo a comprehensive testing procedure before shipping to ensure the quality of the stock meets our strict guidelines and to reduce the incidence of DOA. This means that the device is taken from its box, the battery installed and the device is turned on.

WARRANTY

All items carry a 30 day return to base warranty unless stated otherwise. Warranty is return to base to Auckland. Damage caused by misuse or abuse, electrical damage due to power fluctuations such as surges or spikes are not covered under warranty. A website reference number is to be supplied with all warranty claims. With any claims, freight back to us is at the buyer’s expense. Gadget Geek will pay the freight to get the goods back to the buyer. We will offer a replacement product as first level resolution however if this is not possible than a refund will be provided excluding any freight costs.  Please note that the warranty attaches to you the purchaser, and not to the item itself. As such, warranties are not transferable.

 

We understand our responsibility and obligation as a trader and conform to the consumer guarantee's act

 

 

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All warranty claims must be submitted through our team via email. Once the claim form has been submitted you will be contacted for a resolution. Please be aware that we may ask you to trial software re-flashes, use new batteries and other locally based corrections before sending the device back for warranty repair.

 

Claims for warranty that are found to fall outside of the terms and conditions of the warranty will attract an inspection fee that is payable to Gadget Geek  prior to the customer's item being returned to the customer.  Failure to make this payment within 7 days of invoice will result in cost recovery being sought by the disposal of the item and other by other methods at the discretion of the warranty provider.
